In a fiery message directed at the White House, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has promised to secure the border wall materials reportedly being sold off by the Biden administration. Speaking on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle”, Patrick made it clear that Texas is ready to take action to bolster border security, even if it means purchasing wall sections discarded by the federal government.
Biden Reportedly Selling Border Wall Materials for Pennies
Recent reports indicate that the Biden administration is auctioning off unused border wall components for as little as $5 each. These materials, originally funded by taxpayers under former President Donald Trump’s administration, had been left idle following the decision to halt construction of the border wall early in Biden’s presidency.
Lt. Governor Patrick was quick to condemn the move, describing it as a “going out of business” sale. He expressed his intention to outbid others for the materials and redirect them toward Texas’ border security efforts.
“Message to the White House: I will bid on all that wall, bring it to Texas, and give it to Donald Trump,” Patrick declared during his interview.

Texas Ready to Invest in Border Security
Patrick highlighted that Texas has substantial funds allocated for border security, with $6 billion set aside in the state’s budget. He stressed the urgency of using these resources to address the challenges posed by illegal immigration.
“We have the money. We’ve been trying to buy this wall from them for years, and they wouldn’t sell it to us,” Patrick said, adding that Texas is prepared to take creative measures to prevent the materials from being wasted.
A Scathing Critique of the Biden Administration
Patrick didn’t hold back in his criticism of the Biden administration, calling its actions “despicable” and accusing the president of prioritizing politics over national security.
“The taxpayers paid for this wall. And now, they’re trying to sabotage President Trump’s plans to rebuild it in just a few weeks,” Patrick said.
He went on to accuse the administration of failing to protect American citizens, citing policies that he claims have allowed criminals and terrorists to enter the country.
“Biden will go down as the worst president in history. No one has caused more damage to this country,” Patrick argued, emphasizing what he sees as a betrayal of American values.
A Warning to Blue State Leaders
Patrick also issued a stark warning to Democratic leaders in blue states who have promised to defy federal immigration enforcement under a Trump administration.
“You better buck up, buttercup. Texas means business, and so does President Trump,” he said, underscoring the state’s commitment to enforcing stricter immigration laws.
