- Adam Matthew Lansky, a 27-year-old from Oregon, was arrested after allegedly launching eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership in Portland on January 20th. Authorities say he later returned on February 19th to fire an AR-15 rifle at a Tesla showroom, shattering a window and damaging a vehicle.
- Lucy Grace Nelson, a 32-year-old from Colorado, was caught after spray-painting “Nazi cars” on multiple Tesla vehicles before attempting to ignite them with Molotov cocktails. Prosecutors revealed she was also found in possession of additional incendiary devices.
- Daniel Clarke-Pounder, a South Carolina resident, was arrested for defacing Tesla charging stations with the phrases “F–k Trump” and “Long Live Ukraine” before setting them on fire using homemade explosives.
Each suspect faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison, with prosecutors pushing for the full 20-year maximum sentence under federal law.
Online Threats Escalate Against Tesla Owners
Federal officials warn that the anti-Tesla movement extends beyond physical attacks. Authorities have uncovered a website known as “Dogequest,” which is reportedly publishing personal information of Tesla owners to encourage harassment.
According to a report from The Independent, the website includes an interactive map displaying names, home addresses, and phone numbers of Tesla drivers.
“The site’s cursor is an image of a Molotov cocktail, and the operators have stated they will only remove names if Tesla owners prove they have sold their cars,” the report stated.
Even individuals who oppose Elon Musk have been included in the database, raising concerns over doxxing and potential violence.
“I don’t support Musk, but having my personal details published online feels like a real threat to my family’s safety,” said one Tesla owner, speaking anonymously to The Independent. “This goes beyond political protest—this is targeted harassment.”
