Renowned podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan made headlines after declaring that he has no interest in traveling to Canada, even for major sporting events, claiming he would “rather go to Russia.”
During a recent podcast episode, Rogan discussed his reluctance to visit Canada, stating that he will be skipping UFC 315 in Montreal this May.

“I won’t be there. I don’t go to Canada anymore.”

“That’s so crazy, [Trump] asked them to be the 51st state. I had a conversation with Trump about it,” Rogan said, sparking curiosity among listeners.
He further claimed that Trump had playfully referred to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as ‘Governor Trudeau’, implying that integrating Canada into the U.S. had been a topic of discussion in some circles.
“I started calling him Governor Trudeau just for fun. A lot of people are saying it’s a good idea,” Rogan added, recalling Trump’s alleged remarks. “Maybe it is a good idea.”
