FBI officials conducting a top-secret security clearance review for a longtime employee asked witnesses whether that employee was known to support former President Donald Trump, if he had expressed concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine or had attended a Second Amendment rally, according to internal memos that prompted a complaint to the Justice Department’s internal watchdog alleging political bias inside the bureau.

The employee’s security clearance was revoked months after the interviews, which confirmed his support for Trump and gun rights and his concerns about the COVID vaccine, according to the documents obtained by Just the News.

In another damning revelation for the FBI, it has been discovered that officials revoked an employee’s security clearance over his apparent political views. Officials snooped around to determine the agent’s political leanings by asking if he supported Trump, expressed doubts about Biden’s C19 vaccines, or even attended a Second Amendment rally.

Clearly, these views are commonly associated with conservatives. This employee was conservative-leaning, and the agency revoked his security clearance.

This suggests that the FBI conducts “purity tests” for its employees, potentially granting security clearances (necessary for conducting investigations and advancing in the agency) only to those with liberal-leaning views. This could lead to a situation where only leftists are hired or promoted within the agency.
