“He’s the luckiest motherf-ker that has ever walked the face of the Earth,” Maher stated, followed by more audience laughter and applause.
“I don’t want to say the election is over, but…,” he continued as the audience roared. “Anything can happen in an election, but Jesus Christ.”
“Well, MAGA nation finally has its full hero. They loved it when he went to jail. The mugshot. I have to say, he’s crazy and he’s a criminal, but that mugshot? F-rking nailed it. Brilliant.”
“Trump played this scene like he rehearsed it,” Maher remarked, noting Trump’s ability to turn even the most critical situations to his advantage.
“He gets grazed and the other guy gets shot? It’s so Trump,” Maher continued. “I can see the memes now! The man the lib-tards couldn’t kill. Biden can’t get through a debate and a bullet can’t stop Donald Trump!”
“Well, it almost doesn’t matter who the Democrats put up now.”
In another part of the clip, Maher blasted “fools” and “conspiracy theorists” who were promoting false theories that the assassination attempt was staged.
