Al Sharpton Threatens Boycott of Companies Dropping DEI Initiatives

In a fiery address, civil rights activist Al Sharpton has vowed to launch a nationwide boycott against corporations that have moved away from their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. Sharpton’s remarks, made at the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D.C., have sparked significant debate about the future of corporate diversity efforts.

The leader of the National Action Network (NAN) declared his intent to hold companies accountable for what he described as abandoning progress on inclusion and equity in the workplace.

“We’re not just doing this for the Black community,” Sharpton stated. “This is about respect for every marginalized group that has fought for a voice in this country.”
