The Democratic National Committee’s newly minted vice chair, David Hogg, is facing serious backlash after showcasing his Harvard credentials in a way that left him open to criticism.
Hogg, who has long been a controversial figure in progressive politics, became a target for conservative voices after a misstep on social media—and none other than Hollywood veteran James Woods was quick to school him.
The incident started when a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) contrasted President Donald Trump’s energy with former President Joe Biden’s well-documented struggles. The post humorously noted:
“Your President couldn’t ride his bike across the street without falling. My President does laps at Daytona. We are not the same.”

The reference to Biden’s infamous bike fall was enough to trigger a response from Hogg, who took the opportunity to defend the current administration—only to end up embarrassing himself.
“Your president couldn’t ride a bike if he tried but go off about how sitting in a limo shows how strong he is,” Hogg replied.
That’s when James Woods entered the conversation, swiftly pointing out the grammatical errors in the Harvard-educated DNC leader’s post. The actor and outspoken conservative didn’t hold back, making it clear that Hogg’s response lacked both accuracy and coherence.
